My computer turns on and seems to function normally, but my 😧 Hard Drive is making sort of Clunking Sounds and is Beeping every 10 to 20 Seconds?
Can someone share any feedback or ideas as to why this is happening and what is the solution for this?
Thanks, Jerri5

hi
You have two hard drives
you must already check if it is the SSD or the HDD
then it all depends on the noises exactly, if it is the SSD
it may happen that some are quite noisy, usually nothing serious, but that cannot be fixed ..
IF it is the HDD, there it can be more serious, but it requires replacement, it may break down, if it is indeed a mechanical problem
at least try the tests

It is actually the HDD drive and it appears that it will eventually have to be replaced. Most of all yesterday it was clunking and beeping and starting out this morning it on clunked a few minutes without beeping and now it's been quite for several hours.
It's very interesting that yesterday it was very noisy and today it's quite and seems back to normal.

In this case, @jerri5 back up your data if necessary!
It could definitely break down at any time
It is possible that it will continue to operate for a while.
it's up to you to see if you replace it immediately, or if you wait a bit
