Hi, I need to replace my hard drive as have an imminent failure. Can I use a compatible hard drive as the original one is quite expensive ? Thank you in advance

Hi:

 

What I recommend you do is to replace the 1 TB hybrid SSD with a standard 1 TB 2.5" SSD.

 

It will even perform better.

 

According to the drive specs for your PC it would be a direct swap as the currently installed hybrid SSD/mechanical hard drive is also 2.5"
