179_c0b8b41a-6ecd-48ad-a830-e5f0132b7cfb.jpgHey, I have a 400W PSU installed on my prebuilt TG02-19630no and I wish to upgrade the PSU on it. I found this one on a secondhand market. I was wondering if this would be possible to install on my dekstop pc? I have 4060 TI Nvidia Geforce RTX and 13400F Intel 13th Gen processor and single stick ram 16gb 3200Mhz

@Munz1337,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Unfortunately, this 18-pin power supply was intended for the HP Z440 Workstation, and is not compatible with your HP Victus TG02-1863no (8R8N7EA) RenoR2 motherboard (SSID: 8B3B) with p/n: N00594-604, which only accepts a non-18-pin ATX designed HP power supply:

The best compatible power supply for your PC is a 500-watt unit with p/n: L89233-001.

Kind Regards,

I wish to use a more powerfull PSU, as this one you recommended is only 100W more then the one I have. I was looking at somewhere around 700W

how about this one?

@Munz1337,

Yes, I believe that should work -please compare the "P2" power connector of an L05757-800 with your current power supply to make sure that the connector format itself is a match:

@Munz1337,

Btw, with a 500-watt power supply you can power a graphics card up to a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 Ti powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable such as this one: ASUS DUAL RTX 4060 Ti OC Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database.

Well thanks for helping out I really appreciate it... but I have already ordered the workstation PSU that I mentioned in my post, and the seller hasnt sent the item yet but still refuses to cancel the order 😞  What are my options now..? :((

My PWR CMD is 7 pin, but there is only 3 cables attached to it. Green, grey and  a black one.

@Munz1337,

As long as the "P2" connector is the same size as your current power supply's "P2" connector, you are OK.

@Munz1337,

What eCommerce site did you order the power supply from?  If it is eBay-Sweden, for example, reach out to them and make an effort to reason with them.  Hell, make a stink if necessary.  The item hasn't been shipped yet and still the seller refuses to cancel the order?! That is utter balderdash in my book!
