Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Omen 800-p1xx

Intel i5-8400

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

16 GB RAM

Mobo - HP 8437

 

I was wondering what would be the absolute best upgrades i could put onto this mobo without upgrading it, thanks.

Your highly upgradeable OMEN by HP Desktop PC 880-p1xx as fitted with the Tampa2 motherboard (SSID: 8437) can be upgraded with ALL 8th and 9th gen processors, including the i7-8086K, i7-8700K, i7-9700K/F, and the i9-9900K/F, as you can see here: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-OMEN-by-HP-Desktop-PC-880-p1xx/73018.


As your motherboard is 24-pin ATX power enabled, you can power it with any standard ATX power supply that would fit dimensionally (LxWxH), and with any graphics card that would also fit in your case.

 

For example, with a 750-watt power supply, you could power a smaller sized (dual-fan) RTX 4070 Ti Super, such as this model: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/msi-rtx-4070-ti-super-ventus-2x.b11526.
