Does HP have a web page that will by serial # or product number tell me what expansion slots are in the computer.

The motherboard section has the expansion slots available.

 

One of the M.2 slots (Key A) is occupied by the wifi card.

PCI-E or M.2 or what

 

 

tell what you wish to expand first.

x1 to X16. (only has X16) PCI-express, but all others fit and work even x 1 to x16 slot.

what is the goal here. learn that just having a slot is not all that matters.

card slot power limits 75watts and less on some horrible.

too wide of card.

 

your spec page shows, first google hit

 

  • Expansion Slots:
    • One PCI-E x16 socket
    • One M.2 socket 1, key A
    • One M.2 socket 3, key M

 

and cards that need aux power. to work. (like USB-C , etc)

what card do you want to add. tell that first. and get advice that works.
