Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was led to understand that I ought to be able to support 2 monitors, but I cannot seem to get it to support one via HDMI to displayport. Am I missing something?

From its specs

It has

 

 

  • (1) VGA port
  • (1) HDMI 1.4b/HDCP 2.2 port

 

at its back. You should be able to use both at the same time that means 2 monitors (one digital and one analog).

Is there anything special needed to get the hdmi port active for a monitor?  I have an HP ZR24W connected via an HDMI to displayport cable, and the PC does not see it.
