You can determine the week and year of your notebook's manufacturing date by looking at the 4th, 5th and 6th characters of the serial number.


Those will be numbers.

 

The 4th = the year of manufacture (0 - 9)

 

The 5th and 6th = the week of manufacture (01 - 52).

 

For example, if the 4th, 5th and 6th characters of the serial number are 426, your notebook was manufactured in 2014, during the 26th week of the year.
