All-in-One 24-f1018nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

By default, I have 8GB (1x8GB?), but 2GB may be used by the graphic card, thus only 6GB are available.

How to open the computer to add more RAM?

May I add 1x8GB at a maximum?

need I to buy another ddr4-2400? seems difficult to find.

or another speed? 2666? 3200?

or would it be best to remove the existing 1x8GB 2400 and replace it with 2x8GB 2666 or 3200?

most often you have to use the same modules
So try a module, as close as possible to the one in place
if it works so good   , if not, it will be necessary to buy the same chosen one

hi,

Thanks for your answer; which confirms my computer supports a maximum of 2x8GB.

But

1) how should I open the computer

first to check I have 1x8GB and not 2x4GB

then to add RAM

?

2) Because DDR4-2400 seems difficult to find/buy these days,

I would prefer to know, before buying, if it would work with 1x8GB 2400 + 1x8GB at a higher speed.

Unless I'm mistaken, you should have found the documents with the links already given, so you have this:

Upgrading & Servicing Guide

But I can not certify that this is the correct one, sometimes there are errors, you will quickly see if it matches, normally:

For speed, the motherboard supports what is stated according to information from hp
the AMD Ryzen ™ 5 3500U processor
Maximum memory speed
Up to 2400MHz

Little chance therefore that it works, if by chance it works, the speed will certainly be blocked at the maximum speed supported

Hi,

Not sure it is the correct documentation, since I have at least one maybe 2 more screws to remove.

Still got issues to lift the screen.

Will keep you informed when I can proceed further.
