This computer has a 128 GB solid state drive and a 1TB Saya drive. The pc boot from the solid state drive so it's the primary drive. Now if it trys to do updates or I try and install apps I have insufficient space. How do I make the 1 TB drive the primary drive?

My humble opinion. This may not fit your philosophy.
You really don't want to migrate the operating system to the very slow 1 TB HDD. You will not be happy with system performance.
The best fix is to upgrade the 128 GB SSD to a 512 GB SSD or 1 TB SSD.
Or make sure you only store the operating system and software installations on the small SSD. This can be tricky to do if you install many large programs on the small SSD.
Do you routinely clean the SSD using Storage Sense? You could have GBs of old Windows update files and Temp files sitting on your SSD.

Make sure you have re-assigned folders to the 1TB drive.
