HP Recommended

I have am hp omen 25l with a ryzen 7 processor. I will only boot with one stick of ram. Both sticks work when inserted in either slot by themselves, but when when I have both inserted it will not boot. Has anyone else had this problem? I tried the xmp work around but I can't access advanced bios.
