OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024

I'm looking for a recommendation to replace the 256gb nvme with a 512gb or 1tb nvme.

The current unit is a Western Digital brand and understand they are a few tokens more per drive 

There is a lot of confusing information out there so, I came home.

Your PC's NVMe slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

 

A Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD will work but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds.

 

This table shows the maximum transfer speeds each PCIe slot generation can provide:

If you want a Gen 3.0 SSD, I recommend this one:
