Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I want to upgrade my HP Compaq 8000 Elite SFF PC, I know this might be an obviouse quistion but i'm kinda new to computers.  Is my PC compatible with a Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz Quad-Core (BX80605I5750) Processor?

You're very welcome.

 

It cannot support any Intel 1st gen processor including the i3.

 

Only the processors listed on that spec sheet I posted will work.

The Q9650 is no slouch.  It will still beef up the performance of your 8000 Elite SFF.
