Product: COMPOAQ PRESARIO PC SR5302FH
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

THE SYSTEM CAME ORIGINALLY WITH A SMALL DISK THAT GOT FULL AND IT WAS A WINDOWS VISTA, I GOT PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED A 1 TERABYTE HARD DISK WITH WINDOWS 7. THAT SYSTEM CAME WITH THE OPTION TO UPGRADE FOR FREE TO WINDOWS 10, SO I RAN THE INSTALLATION AND SUCCEEDED, BUT AFTER FEW DAYS I NOTICED THAT THE MACHINE WAS HAVING PROBLEMS TO START, FIRST STOPPED AND TURNED ITSELF OFF AND RESTARTED THEN IT GOES TO AUTO REPAIR AND SO ON KEEP TURNING OFF AND RESTARTING, OR SOMETIMES ALSO  THE VIDEO CARD WILL FREEZE.

MAYBE I NEED A FASTER PROCESSOR, IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN DO?

When you come back, do not type in capital letters. It is considered "shouting'< and you really do not want to do that.  Here are the specifications on that machine.  Your at the minimum requirements for WIN 10.  The CPU is a tad better, but the ram is the minimum.  Here is 2 x 1GB

I could not locate any reference to an upgrade CPU chip.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

Thanks for the fast response, and sorry about my loud voice lol. I guess I tried every thing and nothing works, is a pain and I got some investment in the machine like the 2 ddrs 1 gig each already but I think the processor is to slow. Thanks again and my best regards, stay safe.
