I've read that in order to update my HP Compaq 8300sff that's running Windows 7 64bit Professional to Windows 10 I have to ensure HP provides the drivers to do so. What's the process for upgrading to Windows 10 from 7Pro? Thank you

HP does not support the PC for W10, but it will work fine.
I had W10 installed on both of my older 8200 Elite CMT's which I upgraded to W11 when it came out 3 years ago.
The only driver that W10 won't install on your PC will be this one:
This is the W8.1 driver but it works fine on W10 too.

W10 installs a default audio driver but I prefer to use the W10 Realtek Audio driver from the Elitedesk 800 G1 (the next model after the 8300 Elite).

If you don't have a W10 Pro license and product key you will have to buy one because Microsoft closed the loophole in October of 2023 that allowed users to continue to get the free upgrade to W10 beyond the July 2016 free upgrade expiration date.
There are plenty of YouTube videos out there that provide instructions for how to upgrade from W7>W10, such as this one.
