HP Pavilion 590-p0036

I have a desktop Pavilion desktop 590-p0036. I want to upgrade the SSD.  I need help with which SSD will fit into my computer.Thanks.

I know the difference between the two types of drives.

 

I figured you would want to install a NVMe SSD because they are much faster than SATA SSD's.

 

If you want to stick with a 1 TB SATA SSD, this would be the one I recommend:

You can replace the M.2 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD with a M.2 NVMe SSD.

 

Something like this:

Here's link to M.2 SATA and M.2 NVME.  The SATA SSD has two keys.  The NVME SSD only has one.  The NVME is not a direct replacement for the SATA drive.

I don't have any experience with SSD's.  Old platter drives are no problem.  I have not played with computers a lot in decades.  I just use them now.  It looks like that will be fine.
