I have an OMEN 30L, and I need to replace at least one of my HP DDR4 modules, but can’t find them.

One or both of my RAM DD4 modules may be faulty. I need to buy at least one of the modules (part HP32D4U8S8HC-8XR), but having trouble finding it.

I need this one, as I read online buying an equivalent, or even the same brand not from HP causes my OMEN 30L to not use the full speed capacity on the module, as they need to be for HP.

If you can point to where/how to buy this part, or get one that yields the same results, I’d love to know.

Thank you. After running some tests, it’s unlikely both RAM modules are the issue, so I’m afraid the issue is the motherboard. Kind of disappointing for a three-year-ols machine.

That is indeed unfortunate. You may already have done this, but in my experience, you can reduce motherboard issues when you hook up your PC system to an UPS (uninterruptable power supply), which not only provides uninterrupted power, but also protects your electronics from power spikes and brownouts.
