I just bought an HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01-0034 and want to upgrade the PSU. What are my options?

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The desktop has a 180 watt power supply and I'd like to use a faster graphics card.  Is there a higher wattage power supply available?

@pdakinjr , welcome to the forum.

The motherboard (Rother) is proprietary.  It has a 4-pin ATX power connector; not the standard 24-pin ATX power connector.  Therefore, you will have to buy a power supply unit (PSU) that is provided by HP.  Here is a Power Supply Cross-Reference guide:  https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model...

Your model is not listed, but it has the same motherboard as the T01-0500nd.  It lists a 500W PSU for that model Part # L05757-800.  This will be a good upgrade and allow you to buy a far better video card.  The PSU has a 1 x 6-pin and 1 x 8-pin PCIe power connector.

@wb2001, thank you, friend.  Now, I know why I couldn't see the charts when I first went to the page.  You had them offline.
