This computer has 256GB NVMe SSD + 1TB HDD. It is a new computer with not much on it. I recovered approximately 230 GB of cloud backed up data from a crashed desktop to this new computer. The data resides on the E: drive. I transferred a few document folders to my C: drive, but soon received an error message saying there is insufficient storage space available. I'm lost as to why this happening. Can someone help?

A 256GB device will format at 237GB. The C: drive should be your OS, installed programs, and any additional programs you personally installed. Then you add typical data files from the programs. Put the documents on the E:drive, which has 931 GB capacity (formatted). https://www.thewindowsclub.com/change-default-save-location-windows-10
