I need some help I'm planning on upgrading my 8GB ram to 16GB ram on a HP Laptop 14. The problem I have is trying to find sources that can give me a SODIMM memory stick and another thing can I use a stick like this for my hp laptop 14 or something different? https://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-vengeance-performance-32gb-1pk-32gb-3200mhz-ddr4-c22-sodimm-lap...

Hi:
Your notebook won't support a 32 GB memory chip in one slot.
If your notebook has an Intel Core processor, it will have two memory slots and you can install 2 x 8 GB of memory and possibly 2 x 16 GB of memory.
2 x 8 GB:
2 x 16 GB
You can do this to see how much memory your notebook can support:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
HP only has the service manual for the older model series available, but it should be of help to you for taking the notebook apart.
