Hi, I have been trying very unsuccessfully to find a replacement CPU Fan and Heat sink unit for my desktop PC, going round and round in circles whilst listening to my fan starting for a second or two then stopping for around 5 or 7 seconds before starting again for a second or so, and so it goes on. I get the blue screen stating there is a problem with the fan.
Can anyone please tell me where I can purchase a replacement because the HP site is pretty useless at giving any information?
Many thanks
Colin

You can just replace the fan. It is a PWM 4 pin fan. How to measure it. Example, an 80mm is 3.149".
After you determine the fan size in mm, you can proceed.
Here is a pic of the fan, and you will note it is mounted atop the heatsink (4 screws).
If it is 80mm,
