HP Pavilion Slimeline s5130y P
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I purchased a new tower only (HP Slimeline 260 p020t DT PC),  in an attempt to upgrade my currently 9 year old Slimeline Tower (s5130y). My problem is I don't know how to move my file from one PC to the other. I have a home netwrok ,but I was wondering do I need to attach the new tower and set it up first. Then connect to two twoer by USB cble to move my filess. I am at a loss for getting started. Help...

Hi,

I think your old machine runs Windows XP or Vista and your new machine runs Windows 7 (as in your message) then Windows Easy Transfer is the way to go.
