I have already seen special offers, where you take back your old computer, if you buy a new one ..
But most of the time it's a small discount.
If there is not such an offer at hp or a reseller, the answer is no!
I don't know where you are, but in France sometimes under certain conditions, you get rid of your old equipment, but you don't earn anything on it ...
Try to sell it second hand, or at best make a gesture and give it to someone in need, an association ...
