I am going to put a Samsung 870 EVO drive in my HP 590-p0070 desktop. I know I have a SATA connector on my motherboard (Lincs). Is there an extra power cord I could use so I could keep my 1TB HDD and just copy and paste my files to the SATA drive when it is put in? I did purchase a SATA cable and an SATA driver converter (2.5 to 3.5 if needed). Also is there another bay available rather than taking out my optical (DVD drive)? Also is there any really good videos to help me through this installation process or step by step guides?

Just wanted to let you know I got everything installed but my SATA drive. The SATA cable I bought was too short. I ordered one from Staples and it should be here by Thursday. I don't know if I will have to update the Bios or not yet until I finish installing everything, So I should be able to keep my 1TB Hard Drive, I will have a Samsung 2TB 970 EVO Plus NVME M.2 SSD drive (may need to update Bios) to recognize I understand. And I will have 4TB Samsung 870 EVO 2.5" SATA drive. So hopefully it will recognize all my drives. Will I have to allocate the primary drive (2TB 970 EVO Plus NVME M.2 SSD) and the 4TB SATA drive as the secondary and the HDD as the third? Also can I copy and paste my files directly from my hard drive to the SSD drive or will I have to clone it somehow? Any guidance you can provide, I'd appreciate. Thanks for your help.
