hp pavilion with Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed a new aftermarket AMD video card.

My objective is to have 3 desktop displays. I do not want to mirror any one display.

When installing the card and booting up the onboard graphics card is disabled. I need to reenable it.

I went through the BIOS and i was unable to find the option in advanced that lets me activate both graphics cards.

WITHOUT UPDATING THE BIOS is there any way to get around this? I simply want to utilize both my onboard graphics card as well as my newly installed graphics card.

Hi:

You would have to look up the motherboard specs for your specific model PC and see if it supports both the onboard graphics, and add on video card at the same time.

Based on the information you posted, I would conjecture it doesn't.

Here is a link to a recent model HP Pavilion PC.

If you look at the motherboard specs for the above model, it indicates that Integrated video is not available if a graphics card is installed.

Hi
In fact, most 'general public' computers
do not have of such  function
either you will have to find another solution, or find a compatible graphics card that can handle three or four screens, if yours does not allow it
