ZBook Fury 15 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a question about my HP Z-Book Fury 15 G7. I purchased the M.2 SSD. The 2nd slot on motherboard has a second M.2 slot for a 2nd , 3rd and 4th  SSD. The 2nd slot is covered with a plastic cover (labelled SSD2). I would like to install a 2nd  SSD in this slot. However, due to the fact that the option to install a 2nd drive was not available. I installed the SSD in #3 slot and I can find in the windows explore.  But when I installed it in 2nd slot, my OS could not find the SDD.

I have no bracket for #3 and #4 slot, I should use 2nd Slot.

Please Guide me to use 2nd SSD slot.

Thanks.

I have no bracket for #3 and #4 slot.

There do exist empty cases that are the size of a 2.5-inch disk-drive, and the hardware inside the case to connect an M.2 device. The case has "standard" SATA "power" and "data" cables. So, put the M.2 into the case, close the case, and mount the case in a 2.5-inch-to-3.5-inch metal bracket, and put the bracket into an empty 3.5 inch slot in your computer's case.
