Installing a hard drive

OMEN by HP Obeliskj Desktop 875-1023 - Model  5QB56AA

Desktop comes with 2 empty hard drive bays.

Cannot install new hard drive in either bay.  Can only slide the new hard drive in partically before computer case interferes with drive sliding completely into the bay.  Cannot slide new hard drive into either of the empty bays without the case interfering.

Do I have to loosen the HDD bays or bend the computer case in order to get clearance from the computer case in order to install a hard drive?   Or has someone figured out an easy way to get hard drives installed without using force?

You have to unlock the drive tray(s) and pull outward.  See service manual pages 9 and 16.
