Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

In the HP Pro A G2, we would like to replace the DVD drive with a 2.5 "HDD that works with the primary HDD in RAID1 mode. Will it work in this desktop?

Thank you for your response.

@orlov66 , welcome to the forum.

I don't believe that you can setup RAID in your computer.  There is no mention of setting up RAID in the Maintenance and Service Guide.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

I looked into the BIOS (probably I should have done first) and there is a possibility to set up RAID. So I'm going to try it.

@orlov66, great I am glad that you checked to see if there was an option for it in the BIOS.  I am surprised that it wasn't in the Guide.  HP normally puts that type of information in their guides.
