HP 690-0020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Ryzen 2400GE PRO from another desktop that died. I've tested the Processor on a known compatible motherboard and it is still working, but I wanted to put it in my 690-0020 for academic purposes and test the performance. My 690-0020 has a 2400G in it currently, but the 2400GE and GE PRO versions of the processor dont seem to be on the compatibility list. I just wanted to see if anyone might be able to confirm weather it or isnt compatible because id hate to fry a perfectly good processor or motherboard.

Per the Game Debate site, the 2400GE is about 12% poorer performance then the 2400G. If you look at this page it may help. At first glance it would appear to be a step down. A better move per the HP support site here would be Ryzen 5 2600 or Ryzen 7 2700.
