Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit) v. 2004

Hi

i want to upgrade my gtx 640 3gb oem ( pre-installed with my hp pc ) to gtx 1650 super 4gb ( specs  )

My BIOS version is AMI 8.18, 18-03-2013

My BIOS mode is UEFI

i7 3770

PSU 600 wtt ( 6-pin & 4+2-pin support )

Please tell me if i would or would not face any bios update issue after installing gtx 1650 super ? And will this GPU works fine with my system, without any problem?

@aniforever , welcome to the forum.

I believe that you have UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard/Legacy BiOS:   https://www.howtogeek.com/56958/HTG-EXPLAINS-HOW-UEFI-WILL-REPLACE-THE-BIOS/

Therefore, this should not be a problem.  Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will help you determine what to consider when upgrading the video card:  https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Knowledge-Base/Upgrade-Video-Card/ta-p/7447100

As stated in the article, it would be a good idea if you choose a manufacturer and contact their Tech Support for help with choosing the best card for your system.  This is mainly due to the age of your computer.  It was released in December, 2012.

Thanks for answering sir. I have researched a lot on internet and also found out on youtube that some gamers are using this gpu coupled with i7 3770 without any problem , so the only possible issue i believe could have been of problem was the bios issue. And you have cleared that being UEFI bios i dont need to worry about this part too.  So I am going for this awesome card now 😁
