Is my motherboard compatibole with the core i9 9900k

I was wondering if i coud swap out my i5 9400f in my omen obelisk 875-0850no with the stock motherboard for the i9 9900k without needing to swap motherboards. Both cpus have the same socket, so as far as i know it shoud work right? Or is it  a diffrent amount of pins? And do i need to update the bios, in that case how do i do that?

this version is not mentioned unless I'm mistaken, so there is a risk that it will not work
