Hi, I don't know if this is the right board but my keyboard has been messing up recently. My keyboard came with my PC as a combo with my mouse which works fine. A couple days ago I had used my keyboard to play on my PS4 and it worked fine on there, but then I switch back to use it on my PC. My keyboard wouldn't "turn on", I can only see if it works by pressing caps lock, even if I unplug the USB and let it sit and plug it back in. I thought it were the batteries I was using so I changed brands. It work for an hour, then the same thing happened. Is there any way to fix this?

I understand that the keyboard is not working.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Please uninstall the USB device from the Device manager and update the BIOS and check for the issue.

Thank you  for the helping me! It worked for me but about an hour or two later, it started not working again. So I let just shut down my computer for the day and it seems to be working fine now.

I have discovered the location of the USB dongle? is affected by its location. Plugged into the back of the 24, there seems to be signal interference. I use a USB expansion device so there is a line of sight from the keyboard & mouse. Best Buy Geek Squad said there were lots of complaints about this keyboard/mouse combination.
