Product: Omen 30L GT13-0700
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Basically the title. The desktop came with 1x16gb hyperx fury 3200mhz. I want to run dual channel. I ordered another stick of hyperx ram and it down clocks it to 2400 mhz. 

 

So I tried to take the original ram out and put in the new one just to test, and the Omen command center says it can oc to 3200 mhz but it runs at 2400 regardless of what I do.

 

I actually get better performance in games running 32gb at 2400 mhz than I do with single channel 3200 mhz. 

 

I just want to run dual channel 3200 mhz ddr4. Can someone please help. I've been on every website imaginable. I even asked hp if I could buy another stick of their proprietary ram and they said it's not available.
