I have a 180W power supply unit (HP). I wanted to upgrade to a 1030 from integrated graphics. I am unsure it will run healthy or not. If not, please recommend me a power supply that will fit and will be sufficient.

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Your HP 280 G3 Microtower as powered by a 180-watt power supply, can power the GT 1030. This low-end graphics card only has a 30-watt TDP. However, there is a 310-watt HP power supply with part number: 936512-001, which can power higher-end graphics cards such as a GTX 1650, GTX 1050, GTX 1050 Ti or an RX 6400.
Kind Regards,
