Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am hoping to add an M,2 SSD to my system to replace the HDD.  I have crucial MX500 1000GB SATA M.2 2280SS SSD and when installed it doesn't show in the BIOS or in Windows Disk Manager.  I can put it in a USB converter and it reads it just fine through that.  Is the drive not compatible with the system if so what drives are?  Also, are there any BIOS settings that need to be enabled.  I have combed the menus but I am unable to find anything.

Hi:

The reason for your dilemma appears that the slot only works with NVMe M.2 SSD's, not SATA.
