how can I upgrade?   SATA SSD  or PCIe SSD--Does it support both?

@opdr42 , welcome to the forum.

 

Here is the memory and SSD's that are recommended for your computer by Crucial Memory.  Crucial (Retail section of Micron)/Micron makes very good memory and SSD's for OEM computers.  Also, you can use the specs to buy other brands.  The NVMe drives are PCIe and much faster than SATA.
