HI...My desktop came with a 256gb m.2 ssd stick...I just got a new one with 500gb and swaped it out....when I put pc on all I get is "boot device not found, please install operating system on hard disk...Can anyone advise?..thanks!

Hi:

 

A couple of questions for you...

 

Did you replace the 256 GB M.2 SSD with a NVMe model? 

 

That is the only kind supported.  A NVMe drive looks like this...

Did you reinstall the operating system on the new SSD?

 

You can use the cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

 

Here is an info link for how to use that utility.
