Have i the old system ( sata ) on my mobo for M2 ssd or new system for NVME M2 ssd.

Dear ,

 

I see specification that see - 

  • One M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD

but M2 socket can have 2 different type of M2 ssd . 

1 . Sata  ( low speed ) 

2 NVMe ( fast speed )

 

both have different plugin socket , that’s what I want to know .

I suppose 2280 that’s the length of ssd .

 

now I place a ssd but not on m2 socket , wit sata interface .

before I change I must nee sure of that NVMe ssd will work with my motherboard .

Unfortunately, the specs don't say which one -- but if you get the SATA SSD, it has two slots on the end, so it fits either a SATA port or an NVMe port.
