I have an office computer I recently purchase and I am looking at upgrading the memory from 8GB to 16GB.
From what I currently know the one installed is a Samsung 8gb 2666Mhz DDR3
I would like to add another ram module to make it 16gb and compatible with my system.
It has an AMD Ryzon 5 pro 2400g processor.
Can anyone help as I would very much appreciate it.

I think it is DDR4. The specs of the series:

This is a series of many different models/products. Does you machine have 8GB on 1 slot or 2 slots ?
- If one slot you can simply add same Samsung RAM to slot 2 to have 16GB
- If two slots (2 x 4GB) you have to replace both and you can use the following compatible pair
