Max Ram MHz for Omen 45L?

HP Recommended
OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop PC GT22-0000i (393C6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

For future reference I am wondering what is the maximum MHz RAM my pc would accommodate?  It currently has Kingston HP37D4U1S8MR-8XR, which is 2x8 8GB Kingston 3200MHz that is set to 3733 MHz in the overclocking section of the omen gaming hub.

In essence if I upgrade to 16x2 for 32GB total ram I want to know if I need to stick to 3200, or would I see benefits from 3466, 3600 or 3733 (or others)? Are these compatible?

Thanks!

@Shaner101a , welcome to the Community.

Your motherboard Supports up to 128 GB (unbuffered) with 32 GB DIMMs on 64-bit computers.  However, with that said, HP motherboards are very picky when it comes to adding memory.  You may not get the indicated speed even when using the exact memory that came with the computer.

Thank you for the quick reply.  I have seen this so anticipated swapping out the existing memory for new, so was just wondering the max MHz it could accommodate down the road.
