HP Pavilion, TP01-0066
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Need to replace the stock Foxconn case fan on my TP01-0066 Pavilion. I've got a Delta FFB0912SH-F00, 92mm fan with 3-pin-connector, max rated at 1.04A at 12V DC laying around. Was wondering if this would overdraw the dedicated "system fan" header, on the stock "Erica" motherboard at full tilt. Stock fan is rated at 0.24A at 12 V DC max.

My kid is using this machine as his gaming rig and despite the Delta fan being rather loud, it moves a lot of air... thought it might be worth trying. Thanks!

@srgnt_poltnss82 , welcome to the forum.

I believe that most standard fan headers are rated at 1.0 A.  I don't believe that the .04A should cause you any problems.
