Maximum memory managed by HP DC5850 MT ? 8 or 16 Gb ??

Hello,

I bought an old HP DC5850 MT tower, with Phenom II X4 830 2.8 GHz and only 2 Gb of RAM DDR2 PC2-6400.

So my question is what is the maximum memory managed by this computer?  8 or 16 Gb ?? There are these 2 maximums in HP documents seen in internet...

Pages 8 & 9 have the memory upgrade info.

The MT form factor supports 4 x 4 GB of memory, but unless you can find compatible 4 GB DDR2-6400 modules in used but tested and working condition, you will pay around 260 Euros for new 4 x 4 GB of memory.
