What are the specifications for memory upgrading ?  I would like to purchase 8GB after market memory modules. What memory modules will work, or are compatible?

They guarantee 100% compatibility, so that takes the guesswork out of what memory to buy.

 

Since you already have 8 GB in there now, just buy another 8 GB chip to max it out.

 

The first chip listed is the one you want.

 

Enter the part number on Amazon and see if they have it for less money.
