Hi, searching in the official HP product page for memory upgrade for my PC(http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05145045), I found that the only kind of memory supported is DDR4 2133Mhz, but the recommendations to purchase new memory of the  spare parts page(https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?type=PROD&SearchText=Z8F59AA), is buying directly from HP or Crucial, and I get confused because Crucial says that DDR4 2400Mhz is compatible with my system, and the partsurfer.hp.com page says that this kind of memory is available too for my desktop, DDR4 2400 results in a better performance for my desktop, but I don't know what kind of memory to buy according to the information given by HP product page vs spare part page... can you help me guys?

It has 4GB of DDR4-2133 now and supports 16GB (2 x 8GB) max. You can use Crucial DDR4 2400MHz RAM, system will automatically runs at 2133MHz

@banhien

thanks a bunch for your answer, in order to understand it, the Crucial Scanner tool recommends to upgrade to a 16GB (2x8GB) RAM PC4-3200 instead of PC4 2400, if I decide to install that kind of memory, my PC works at 2133Mhz automatically independently of the MHZ of the purchased memory?

is this correct?

cheers!!!
