HP Pavilion All in One PC 23.8
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Just got my desktop 2 days ago (9/13/19) and was setting up the settings until the screen went black. Initially, it asked me to “check HDMI-In” so I found the HDMI source button to turn it off. It immediately switched from “check HDMI-In” to “Monitor Off.” And now I am unable to turn on the monitor at all no matter what I do. Unplugged all sources (power source, USB, etc.) followed a resetting prompt and plugged the power source back in. Tried to turn it on and nothing happens. Please help!

Welcome to HP Support community.

Power reset the AIO

Remove all the cables including power cable from the AIO and press and hold the power button and check if that helps.

Boot to BIOS and check if the issue persists

  1. Turn on or restart the computer.
  2. While the display is blank, press the f10 key to enter the BIOS settings menu.

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
