hello i have this motherboard:

I want to know what better graphics cards are compatible with the motherboard than gerforce gt730. is there a place on internet where i could find all compatibility of hardware for this motherboard? (PC part picker does not recognise this board in search results)

@Charnel , welcome to the forum.

 

HP has their motherboards made to their specifications.  This is why PC Part Picker doesn't recognize it.

 

Here is an HP Knowledge Base article that will help decide what you need.  The PSU in your computer is only 180W.  This means that it will have to be upgraded, also.  You will have to measure the space where the PSU will be installed to assure that the one you choose will fit.  I like Corsair products.  A fully modular, standard ATX, PSU is recommended for smaller, mid-size cases.  These allow you to only use the cables that are absolutely necessary.  Once you have read the article and my recommendations, you can choose a video card.

 

Here is a MSI video card that I believe should work in your computer.  It is 8.03" in length and requires 1x8-pin supplemental power connector.  Like the article states, you can contact the manufacturer's Tech Support for help with making your choice.
