My HP PC HARDWARE DIAGNOSTIC UEFI. Hard drive check only stayed at 99% Pls help

Hi,

 

Normally a HDD check using HP Diagnostics will yield an error code if the HDD is in trouble.

 

I would guess your HDD has issues if the test is locked at 99%.

 

Shut down, restart the PC and try the test again.

 

You may have to replace the drive if it locks again or you get a HDD test failure.
