My desktop won’t power on

Hp Deaktop 251-a-123w

My desktop will not power on. There is no led light in The back. Nothing is happening. Do I need another power cord? I have held the power button with and without the power cord and it still won’t turn on. Could someone give me some advice?

@Momof2701,

Does not that unit have an external PSU, very similar to a the type used with a laptop?

Unplug the wall cord from the outlet.  The wall cord should detach/unplug from the power block.  Unplug and firmly re-seat the cord into the power block. Then connect to wall outlet and computer, and press power button.
