No optical drive 

NB. I am required to install an operating system on hard disk, and I have no knowledge on how to do that.

Hi:

 

You can use the HP cloud recovery tool which will create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with the PC.

 

Here is an info link for how to use the utility:  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

Since you have to use another PC to install the tool on, you will need to enter the product number for your PC to create the recovery media, which is:  6G2Y1EA#ACQ

I only have a 64gb usb will it work?

The flash drive just has to be a minimum of 32 GB.
