Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Pretty basic question. My new HP Envy TE01 PC came with 10 extra screws in the box with no instructions as to why they are there. Anyone know what they are for?

Are the screws different or all the same?

 

I can only guess you got some screws for adding  a 3.5 inch HDD or a 2.5 inch SATA SSD.

 

HP might also have given you some M.2 screws.

 

HDD screws are usually coarse threaded, SSD screws are fine threaded, and M.2 screws are fine threaded and very small.
