My newly bought HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-0136no runs super hot and fans are loud.

Just bought this  HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-0136no to upgrade from my old, 8 year old computer. I dont play very demanding games, mostly world of warcraft. 

Wanted the upgrade mostly to reduce the heat and sound of my computer but for some reason my new one runs hotter and louder than my 8 year old one. 

Is this normal?

@Edefors Click here for steps to resolve overheating issues, you could try reducing the resolution on the in-game settings and switch the windows settings to performance rather than visual effects to make a minor change, however, the game may heat up your PC, hence make sure you are using a cooling pad as well, to be on a safer side.

Here's how you change windows settings:

• Go to Start Menu > click on Settings.
• Type performance > choose to Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.
• In the new window, go to the Visual Effects and select Adjust for best performance.
• click Apply and Ok...this should do the trick.

Also, to resolve issues such as Fan is Noisy and Spins Constantly:

• Updating your Notebook computer BIOS
• Keeping notebook air vents clear and clean
• Increasing the efficiency of the notebook to reduce heat
• Using Windows Task Manager to identify corrupt processes
• Selecting power save settings to shut off your computer when it is not in use
